North Liberty asking for public opinion on recreation department
North Liberty residents – the city wants you to help shape the future of its recreational opportunities.

The city has posted a survey to its website this week asking for feedback from residents as it continues shaping the city’s park and recreation master plans. The survey includes 14 questions, some including multiple sub-questions regarding residents’ feelings about current recreational offerings in North Liberty, as well as some demographic information.

The survey, which will be open through the end of January, is being administered by the city’s Park and Recreation Commission and city staff. Officials estimate it should take less than 10 minutes to complete.

Paper copies are also available at the North Liberty Community Center and North Liberty City Hall.

This is the second time in less than a month the city has reached out to the public for feedback on a potentially major topic; the city is also currently collecting public input on changes to its zoning ordinance in regards to new rental permit rules. The council has already approved one reading of the updated ordinance but the city council has said it’d like to get public opinion on the topic.
