Iowa City Police are on the lookout for a suspect in a strong-armed robbery at an east side business.

In a news release, police say a heavier-built Hispanic male entered the Walgreens on Muscatine Avenue about 10:30 Monday night, approached the pharmacy counter and demanded to go behind the counter. He then allegedly threatened use of a weapon, though one was never displayed, before hopping over the pharmacy counter.

Police say he then took an undisclosed amount of medication before fleeing the store on foot.

No one was injured during the robbery.

The suspect is said to have been wearing all dark clothing at the time but no further description has been provided.
