Hawkeyes clinch CyHawk Series early

The fall semester hasn’t even ended, and the University of Iowa has already clinched the annual CyHawk Series over Iowa State.
The Hawkeye swimming and diving team won its ninth straight Cy-Hawk Series matchup over the Cyclones, winning 162-138 on Friday night at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center.
The victory clinches the 2018-19 Cy-Hawk Series for Iowa before the spring semester even begins. The Hawkeyes also posted victories in football, volleyball, men’s and women’s basketball, and wrestling to take an insurmountable 13-6 lead with three competitions remaining.
The Cyclones took victories in men’s and women’s cross country and soccer.
