IC man faces robbery charge

An Iowa City man faces a robbery charge after an incident Friday night on Iowa City’s southeast side.
Online records show police were called to Acapulco Mexican Bakery on Keokuk Street just after 7:45 Friday night for a robbery involving two men.
55-year-old Rachid Jadili of The Quarters apartments on Highway 6 East was booked into the Johnson County Jail just before 10:15 Friday night and charged with 1st Degree Robbery, Assault and Public Intoxication. If convicted on all charges, he faces a maximum of over 25 years in prison.
