A basketball team featuring Megan Gustafson and other former Hawkeyes has a tough road ahead to win $2 million.

Brackets for The Tournament were released Tuesday. The Iowa team, known as Iowa United, has been put in the Wichita Regional as a seven seed. It will face a second-seeded team of former Wichita State players on Wichita State’s home court on July 25th.

Should Iowa United win, their next opponent would likely be a team made up of former Kansas players.

Iowa United features Gustafson, Nicholas Baer and Peter Jok, as well as former Northern Iowa Panther Wes Washpun,, former Iowa State Cyclones Marcus Fizer and Tyrus McGee as well as former Drake players.

The Tournament is a 64-team single elimination tournament in which the winners receive $2 million. All games will air on ESPN in July and August.
