Stead Family Children’s Hospital noted in US News And World Report on best hospitals

This year’s US News and World Report’s Best Children’s Hospitals summary has been released, and the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital is listed among the nation’s best in six specialties.
The hospital got a 16th ranking in Neonatology, 21st in Pediatric Diabetes and Endocrinology, 26th in Pediatric Urology, 29th in Pediatric Orthopedics, 29th in Pediatric Nephrology, and 46th in Pediatric Cancer.
The Stead hospital is the only Iowa facility nationally ranked in the report, which was introduced in 2007 to help families find the best medical facilities available.
The findings are available online at https://health.usnews.com. Hard copies will be available in bookstores this September.
