A trial date has been set for the former manager of the Muscatine County dispatch and communications center.
46-year-old Beverly Griffith is accused of faking hours on her time sheets…hours that investigators say she spent working as a bartender.
Griffith is charged with misdemeanor Tampering with Records. On Tuesday a jury trial was scheduled for September 18th. A pretrial conference is set for September 13th.
An arrest affidavit says Griffith recorded hours on several time sheets in January and February that she didn’t work because she was tending bar.
Griffith was hired May 31st, 2018 to manage the Muscatine County dispatch center after spending the past 10 years as a dispatch supervisor in Naples, Florida. She was placed on unpaid administrative leave following the allegations and resigned earlier this year.
