Allegedly Snapchatting himself urinating in front of an Iowa City Police cruiser has led to an Illinois man’s arrest.

ICPD officers were dealing with a subject refusing to leave Pint’s on South Clinton Street just after 1:15am on October 5th when they say they observed 23-year-old Kevin Flasch of Mount Prospect, Illinois standing in the middle of the street. Flasch was standing next to a construction barrel in a position indicating he was urinating.

When officers approached Flasch, they say they noticed him urinating on the barrel while holding his phone in his free hand. Flasch was allegedly Snapchatting himself urinating while in selfie mode, making sure to get an Iowa City Police cruiser in the background of the shot. Police say he then refocused his attention to urinating.

When police confronted Flasch they noticed several signs of intoxication, and he was unable to button his pants. He’s charged with Public Intoxication and Public Urination and Defecation. A bench trial is set for December 10th.
