A North Liberty woman faces the possibility of nearly ten years in prison after an incident involving the father of her child.

According to police, 41-year-old Kizzy Little of Zellar Crossing arrived at the man’s residence in the 900 block of Boston Way Saturday evening around 11 o’clock to pick up her child. An altercation reportedly took place that escalated to the point where Little allegedly pulled out a stun gun and chased the man attempting to tase him.

The child, a minor, was left unsecured in Little’s vehicle and witnessed the incident. Little reportedly pursued the man in her vehicle to another address, with the child still unsecured in the vehicle.

Police arrested Little and charged her with Domestic Abuse Assault with the use of a weapon, child endangerment, and going armed with intent. If convicted on all counts, she could be sentenced to up to nine years in prison.

A no-contact order was requested between the two parties.
