Four Iowa long-term care facilities reporting coronavirus cases

The Iowa Health Care Association has announced that four long-term care facilities in Iowa have reported positive test results for coronavirus.
According to the group, four employees and one resident at facilities in Linn, Washington, Dubuque and Poweshiek counties have tested positive.
A worker at the Pleasantview Home in Kalona tested positive for COVID-19, and has not been at work since first showing symptoms. The Des Moines Register reported that the worker contracted the virus through community spread.
The Cedar Rapids Gazette learned that two employees at Heritage Specialty Care in Cedar Rapids tested positive on Tuesday. Neither employee had symptoms while at work.
The paper reports that staff is checking residents twice a day for temperatures and monitoring for signs and symptoms of COVID-19.
