Number of cases and counties affected by COVID 19 rises

After initally showing a drop in active coronavirus cases in Johnson County, the number has risen as additional counties have been affected by the virus.
Current numbers from the Iowa Department of Public Health show that Johnson County has 49 active cases, with Linn County currently at 12. A total of 37 of Iowa’s 99 counties now have active cases.
The IDPH reports there are 31 currently hospitalized, 15 discharged and recovering, and 81 that were diagnosed but didn’t need hospitalization. 2578 people have tested negative in Iowa.
So far, there has only been one death reported, out of Dubuque County.
Country wide, there are 86,000 cases with 1300 fatalities.
