Cedar Rapids police are investigating a Saturday evening shooting at the Westdale Court Apartments.
According to a media release from the department, officers were called to the complex at 3909 20th Avenue Southwest at 6:37pm on reports of a possible shooting. Arriving police located an apartment with bullet holes and shell casings.
One victim was reportedly shot in the arm and was transported to a hospital via private vehicle prior to police arriving on scene.
Authorities are not releasing the name of the victim at this time. An investigation is ongoing.
