Interstate 80 near Tiffin will be closed temporarily on Monday.
According to the Iowa Department of Transportation, travel will be restricted to one lane on eastbound I-80 near Ireland Avenue Northwest (exit 237) from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, weather permitting. Eastbound I-80 at Ireland Avenue Northwest (exit 237) will be completely closed to traffic from 1 p.m. until 11 p.m. on Monday. At that time traffic will follow a marked detour route from eastbound I-80 (exit 237) onto Ireland Avenue Northwest, then back onto eastbound I-80. Drivers should anticipate delays, and should consider an alternative route, if possible.
The Interstate will be closed so crews can repair pavement settling which occurred after the installation of pipe under all lanes of I-80 at Ireland Avenue.
