A Washington State woman was taken into custody after allegedly having drugs sent to a Coralville hotel.

According to the police report, 32-year-old Tiffany Dillon of Tukwila Washington made a reservation at Fairfield Inn and Suites, but did not check in. The hotel received a package addressed to Dillon, and she allegedly called the front desk shortly afterwards, asking for the package.

Dillon arrived and got the package, reportedly opening it up at the front desk. Investigators who were tipped off about the incident made contact with Dillon, and she claimed that she got some candy and glow sticks from a friend in Texas.

Dillon provided the package to officers, who located a coffee cup inside containing candy, but also five different types of pills without a valid prescription. When Mirandized, Dillon still allegedly claimed that everything in the coffee cup was candy.

Dillon was taken into custody and charged with unlawful possession of a prescription drug, a serious misdemeanor punishable by a jail sentence of up to one year if convicted.
