One person was injured in a late Thursday night accident on Interstate 80 near Durant.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, a Toyota Corolla was stopped partially in the eastbound roadway on I-80 near the Stockton exit just before 11pm when it was hit by a Hyundai Accent, sending the Accent into the middle of the roadway. The Accent was then struck by a semi.
One person was sent to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics via Durant Ambulance. Their identity and condition have not been released.
