A Solon man is in the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics after a motorcycle crash in Linn County late Friday night.
Authorities say the incident occurred at the intersection of Highway 100, US Highway 51and Iowa Highway 13. 46-year old Mark Meyer was heading east near Highway 13 when he reportedly lost control of his motorcycle and went down on the pavement.
He is being treated for what the Linn County Sheriff’s Office says are life-threatening injuries.
The accident is under investigation.
