Gazette says photo they took of Biden airbrushed and used by Trump campaign without permission

The Cedar Rapids Gazette says the Trump campaign airbrushed a photo of Joe Biden they took while he was visiting the home of Coralville mayor John Lundell to make it look like he was sitting alone in his basement.

The original photo shows Biden sitting on the floor at the Holiday Bowl watch party; photographer Liz Martin said the former Vice President sat there because he gave someone else his seat. There were about three dozen people at Lundell’s house at the time the photograph was taken.

The paper says the Trump campaign used the image without their permission, saying their policy forbids the use of their news photos for any political advertising. Martin says she recognized the photo as her own and that a group of people behind Biden was deleted for the Trump ad.
