Iowa City Police are investigating a pair of suspicious deaths.
According to an ICPD news release, emergency responders were dispatched to the 100 block of Aniston Street at about 8:35 Tuesday night for a report of an unconscious female inside a residence. Upon their arrival, a deceased adult female and a deceased adult male were found inside the residence.
The deaths are being treated as suspicious and are under investigation by the Iowa City Police Department, Johnson County Attorney’s Office, and Johnson County Medical Examiner’s Office. The names of the deceased are not yet being released, pending appropriate notifications.
