ICPD responds to shots fired on southeast side

Iowa City Police are investigating an overnight shots fired incident on the city’s southeast side.

According to an ICPD news release, officers responded just after midnight Wednesday to a report of shots fired in the 1100 Block of Hollywood Boulevard. Upon arrival, investigators located multiple items of evidence indicating several shots were fired resulting in multiple residences being struck.  No injuries were reported from this incident.

This incident is being actively investigated by the Iowa City Police Department and any residents with information about this shooting are asked to contact the Iowa City Police Department. In addition, anyone in that area with security cameras is asked to review their recordings and contact Iowa City Police at 319-356-5276 with any potential footage or information.

Iowa City Area Crime Stoppers is also offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information about this incident if an arrest is made.
