University of Iowa officials have received a third sexual assault report in as many weeks.
The latest report concerns a reported sexual assault last Saturday at a fraternity. The school says indications are the assault was perpetrated by an acquaintance.
UI officials received reports of two other sexual assaults earlier this month. One occurred on Saturday, Sept. 12 at an east side residence hall. Indications are that assault was perpetrated by an acquaintance.
On September 11th UI officials said they received a report of a sexual assault at a fraternity house. That incident happened on Thursday, September 3rd. Indications are that assault was also perpetrated by acquaintances.
No other information about any of the three cases is being released at this time.
