Newly released rankings on specific university studies from US News & World Report show the University of Iowa slipping in some of their best-ranked subjects.

The Cedar Rapids Gazette reports that the report, looking at specific disciplines internationally among 86 countries, shows the UI dropping in some of their highest-ranked subjects.

The university is now ranked 92nd in psychiatry and psychology, down from 81st; 97th in neuroscience and behavior, down from 93rd; 118th in Surgery, down from 102nd; 138th in immunology, down from 116th; 131st in arts and humanities, down from 119th; and 173rd in economics, down from 157th.
