An inmate at the Iowa Medical Classification Center who previously was accused of throwing a jug of an unknown liquid at a Correctional Officer has now been accused of throwing a cup of urine at an employee.

According to the complaint, 31-year-old Trumere Steele was being cared for by employees at the IMCC on October 7th at 6:30am. As employees were trying to give Steele food and medications, Steele allegedly threw a cup of urine on one of them.

Last December 6th, Steele reportedly threw a jug of an unknown liquid on a uniformed Correctional Officer, hitting the officer in the chest and face.

He was transported to the Johnson County Jail on Wednesday, where a warrant was served. His initial court appearance was waived and will be arraigned at a later date. If convicted on both charges, Steele could be sentenced to up to six years in prison.
