Hope House resident jailed after alleged incident


A Hope House resident has been taken into custody after reportedly becoming disruptive and threatening.

According to Hope House personnel, 32-year-old Samuel Lee Lockett became loud and disruptive on Sunday when he was not granted a special privilege. Lockett allegedly had a posture and made statements towards staff that were considered threatening. They included tightening his fists and making staements such as “you are going to have to break my jaw to make me stop talking, “ “This ain’t jail,”  and “I’m not afraid to go to jail.”

Lockett was taken to the Johnson County Jail and booked just before noon Monday on parole violations. He is being held on $10,000 bond.
