Cedar Rapids police are investigating a Monday morning shooting that left one dead.
Preliminary information from the city indicates that officers were called to the 400 block of F Avenue Northwest just before 11am. Upon arrival, they found the deceased victim.
A person of interest is being questioned; police believe this was a targeted incident.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
