Cedar Rapids Police searching for victim of gunshot incident

 The Cedar Rapids Police Department has an ongoing investigation into a shooting incident that was reported at the Kum & Go, 30 Four Oaks Drive SW, on March 2, 2021 at 8:41 p.m.

A victim was inside his vehicle parked next to a gas pump when a suspect approached the victim’s vehicle and discharged a firearm.  The victim’s vehicle sustained damage from gunfire to the front passenger window.  The victim was not injured.

The victim left the scene before police officers were able to speak with him.  As part of the investigation, the Police Department needs to speak with this victim.  A photograph of the vehicle involved is included below.
