The trial of Roy Browning Jr., accused of killing his wife in April of 2019, has been delayed a fourth time into 2022.
KCRG TV reports that a filing in Johnson County District Court showed the start date for Browning’s trial is now Feburary 1st, 2022. It was scheduled to start next month.
Browning Jr. is accused of fatally stabbing his wife, JoEllen Browning. Investigators say he hid financial improprieties from his wife and knew that she had a substantial life insurance policy.
