Sources close to Coralville city councilor Meghann Foster tell KCJJ that she’s planning a run for Coralville mayor.
The source, speaking to KCJJ on condition of anonymity, says an announcement could come as early as today. Foster would be running to replace outgoing mayor John Lundell, who announced earlier this week that he would not seek another term.
Earlier this year Foster ran unsuccessfully for a vacant seat on the Johnson County Board of Supervisors.
