Iowa City Police seek help in identifying shots fired suspect

Iowa City Police are asking for the public’s help finding a suspect who allegedly fired gunshots after a weekend road rage incident.
According to an ICPD news release, just after 10:30 Saturday night officers responded to the area of The Quarters on Highway 6 East for a report of gunshots. The investigation determined that during a road rage incident in the 2200 Block of Hollywood Boulevard, an unidentified dark-skinned man, driving a small, silver Sedan, discharged a firearm in the air.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Iowa City Police Department at 319-356-5275. In addition, anyone in that area with security cameras is asked to review their recordings and contact the ICPD with any potential footage or information about this incident.
Iowa City Area Crime Stoppers is also offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information about this incident that leads to an arrest.
