University of Iowa Police are investigating the eighth reported sexual assault at a school dormitory this semester.
According to the UIPD web site, school officials received a report of a sexual assault that occurred during the early morning hours of Friday, Oct. 15th in an east side residence hall. The assault was reportedly perpetrated by an acquaintance.
No further details have been released.
The incident marks the eighth reported sexual assault at a UI residence hall since students returned to the dorms on August 15th.
