Allegedly injuring another person with a stick has led to charges against a Coralville man.
Coralville Police say 64-year-old Nathaniel Burgs of 10th Avenue struck another person with a stick around 10:30pm on November 8th. The alleged victim received injuries to the head and face, causing bleeding. That person told police they and Burgs are in a live-in relationship.
Burgs is charged with Domestic Abuse Assault Causing Injury. If convicted he faces a maximum of one year in jail.
