An early Thanksgiving morning accident temporarily shut down Highway 30 in Cedar Rapids.
Cedar Rapids Police say they received a report of a motor vehicle rear-ending a semi on Highway 30 eastbound near mile marker 252 at 4:45am. The driver of the car was seriously injured.
Officials shut down westbound Highway 30 between Edgewood Road and 6th Street SW during the investigation. No other information has been released.
