Coralville man faces decades in prison after search warrant turns up drugs

A Coralville man was taken into custody on warrants relating to a search of his home earlier this year.

On February 14th at approximately 2 am, investigators executed a search warrant at the Holiday Road residence of 37-year-old Setra Summerall, a convicted felon. The search located several types of narcotics, which were tested and came back positive for amphetamines, ecstasy, oxycodone, marijuana, THC cartridges, and psilocin. A semi-automatic rifle was also in plain view in Summerall’s bedroom.

A warrant for Summerall’s arrest was issued April 28th; he was arrested Sunday afternoon.

Summerall faces a simple controlled substance violation, a class D controlled substance violation, a Class C controlled substance violation, two Class B controlled substance violations, four counts of Failure to affix Drug Stamp, and Dominion or Control of a Firearm as a Felon. If convicted on all charges, Summerall faces a prison sentence of up to 91 years.
