Black professionals of Johnson and Linn Counties to hold Masquerade Ball July 1

The black professionals of Johnson County and Linn County are presenting their first annual Masquerade ball on July 1st at The Old Brick in Iowa City.

According to a release from the group, the event promises to be a night of glamour, mystery, and elegance as guests walk the red carpet dressed in their best black tie attire and adorned with beautiful masquerade masks.

The Masquerade ball will provide an opportunity for black professionals in the area to come together, network, and celebrate their hard work and achievements with other prominent organizations in both counties and beyond. The event will feature music, dancing, and signature cocktails.

Organizers call it a significant moment for the black communities in Johnson and Linn Counties.
