An alleged drug dealer faces multiple felony charges after a raid at his apartment reportedly turned up drugs hidden in his toilet.

37-year-old Rodney Causey was booked into the Johnson County Jail just after 4:15 Friday morning. Coralville Police say they first encountered Causey when he sold marijuana to an undercover officer outside the 8th Street Hy-Vee on the afternoon of September 1st, 2015. Nine days later, he allegedly sold more marijuana to an undercover officer at Causey’s 22nd Avenue apartment.

Police served a search warrant on that apartment on October 2nd of 2015. Causey was allegedly located in the bathroom, where police say they found three ounces of marijuana hidden inside the tank of the toilet. He reportedly admitted to selling the drug.

Causey now faces three Controlled Substance Violations. If convicted on all charges, he faces a maximum of 15 years in prison.
