A Cedar Rapids man was seriously injured in a one-vehicle accident south of Ely.
According to the Linn County Sheriff’s office, just after 7:15 Monday night 23-year-old Caleb Jordan was driving northbound on Ely Road near Hoosier Creek Road when he crossed over the southbound lane and went into the west ditch. His vehicle came to rest on its side in a nearby field.
Jordan was airlifted to a local hospital with serious injuries. The accident remains under investigation.
