Two inmates at the Johnson County Jail face charges for separate incidents.
Johnson County deputies say 29-year-old Christopher Dahlhauser intentionally kicked and damaged a cell door just after 3:30 Sunday afternoon. Damage is estimated at $446.35, and Dahlhauser is charged with 4th Degree Criminal Mischief. If convicted, he faces a maximum of one year in jail.
Just before 3 p.m. Tuesday, 27-year-old Davee Ceya allegedly punched one jailer in the face causing injury and scratched another’s arm, causing a cut. Ceya is charged with two counts of Assault on Persons in Certain Occupations Causing Bodily Injury. If convicted on both charges, he faces a maximum of four years in jail.
Dahlhauser is currently accused of several area burglaries. Ceya, who made news after he was caught masturbating on the Pentacrest in May, is currently serving a 30-day jail sentence on an assault charge.
