A warrant has been issued for the arrest of an Iowa City shots fired suspect who skipped a scheduled court appearance.

Online court records show 25-year-old Satnam Singh failed to appear for his scheduled arraignment earlier this week. Singh is accused of being among a group of three suspects who recklessly discharged firearms just before 2:15 Christmas morning outside an apartment building on the 500 block of East Burlington Street. The other two men charged in the case are 22-year-old Gupreet Singh and 21-year-old Bhupi Singh. Satnam and Gupreet Singh both live in the building, while Bhupi Singh lives on 6th Avenue in Coralville.

The incident, which was caught on video, triggered a HawkAlert from the University of Iowa.

All three suspects are charged with Reckless Use of a Firearm and Use of a Dangerous Weapon in the Commission of a Crime. If convicted on both charges, the Singhs each face a maximum of 25 months in jail.

Gupreet Singh has an arraignment set for April 12th, while Bhupi Singh has a case management conference scheduled for April 29th.
