A resident at 501 Southgate was arrested Thursday morning after allegedly acting out and damaging property at the transitional housing facility.
Police say 41-year-old Derrick Willoughby became enraged in a public section of the building and acted out violently. He allegedly broke several items that didn’t belong to him, threatened to fight and assault others, and punched holes in the walls.
Staff estimated Willoughby caused about $500 in damage to the building and contents.
He could face up to 13 months in jail if convicted on Disorderly Conduct and 4th degree Criminal Mischief charges.
