The University of Iowa football team is getting some help along the offensive line.
North Dakota transfer Cade Barud announced on Saturday that he would be joining the Hawkeyes. Barud was named an FCS All-American last season, and he was named to the Missouri Valley Football Conference All-Newcomer Team. He was also a high school teammate of current Hawkeye Xavier Nwankpa at Southeast Polk.
