A convicted public masturbator charged with robbery late last year has been given a 30-day sentence in a plea deal.
30-year-old Lamon Lewis…who lists his address as Shelter House… was initially charged with 2nd Degree Robbery after Iowa City Police say he stole beer from a business on Boyrum Street just before 10:15 on the night of December 27th. An employee chased Lewis outside, and once confronted, Lewis reportedly punched the employee, causing minor injuries.
Online records show Lewis pleaded guilty to lesser charges of 5th Degree Theft and Assault and was sentenced to 30 days in jail earlier this month.
Lewis was on probation for an Indecent Exposure conviction in November after an August incident that saw him reportedly masturbating in public while naked and watching pornography on his phone at the Villas on 4th in Coralville. One year was added to that probation after the latest plea deal.
