Johnson County adds additional community forum for new strategic plan

Johnson County, Iowa – The Board of Supervisors invites residents, businesses and community organizations to provide input for the next Johnson County strategic plan by attending the following in-person community forum:

  • Thursday, Feb. 26, 2026, 6 p.m., Dream City, classroom, 611 Southgate Ave, Iowa City

Johnson County is developing a new strategic plan to guide County priorities, policies and budget decisions for the next three to five years. The strategic plan will serve as a roadmap for measuring progress and adapting to new opportunities and challenges as they arise.

Public input, transparency and accountability are central to the county’s planning efforts. Past forums were held in Solon, Hills and Coralville.
