Construction is underway on County Road X14…also known as Wapsi Ave SE…between Highway 22 and 520th Street, just north of Lone Tree.
Johnson County Secondary Roads says Wapsi Avenue will generally remain open to traffic during construction. However, motorists should expect delays due to daytime lane closures. Traffic will be reduced to one lane during working hours and controlled by flaggers and pilot cars. Both lanes will be open to traffic at night except for unusual circumstances.
Construction is anticipated to be completed by early August.
LL Pelling Co. of North Liberty is the project’s prime contractor.
