A local transient was arrested earlier this week after allegedly threatening staff and residents at an Iowa City facility for the chronically homeless.
51-year-old Charles McDile is banned from the property of Cross Park Place on Cross Park Avenue. Iowa City Police say despite the trespass warning, McDile entered the property just before 9pm Tuesday and began yelling at his wife and staff members. He also allegedly threatened to “cut people” while holding an object in his hand.
McDile was arrested and charged with 1st Offense Trespassing.
