A woman was shot Sunday night in Southeast Cedar Rapids.
According to Cedar Rapids Police, officers responded to the intersection of 6th Avenue and 15th Street Southeast at 8:12pm for a report of shots fired. Arriving officers found a woman with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. She was transported to a local hospital.
The investigation is ongoing, although the CRPD believes it was a targeted incident.
