North Liberty man arrested for allegedly shooting at Tiffin houses

A North  Liberty man who allegedly caused hundreds in pellet gun damage to two Tiffin homes back in March has been arrested.

Police say they used Ring doorbell footage in the area of the intersection of Goldfinch and Robert Ferry Road in Tiffin from the evening of March 21st . It allegedly shows that a pellet gun was fired out of the window of the vehicle at two houses in the area.

The homes sustained damage totaling over $1500.

A juvenile who was a passenger in the vehicle identified the shooter as 18-year-old Angel Lopez-Bahena of Golfview Court. A warrant was requested for his arrest on April 22nd and he was taken into custody May 5th.

Lopez-Bahena faces a 2nd degree criminal mischief charge, a Class D felony punishable by a prison term of up to five years. The juvenile, who was also charged, has not been identified.
