An Iowa City woman was taken into custody after allegedly threatening another woman at her place of employment with her vehicle and a knife.

Police say the incident occurred the morning of May 9th at the Comfort Inn and Suites on East 9th Street in Coralville. 20-year-old Arionne Collins of Broadway Street was upset with the other woman, and allegedly tried to run over her with her car.

Collins then reportedly got out of the vehicle and came at her with a knife and a taser, threatening to kill the woman. Collins was then near the woman’s car when a manager came out. She fled the scene when  the woman threatened to call 911. Afterwards, it was discovered that the woman’s rear tire had been punctured.

An arrest warrant was requested on May 11th, and Collins was booked at the Johnson County Jail early Tuesday morning. She’s been charged with 1st degree Harassment and 5th degree Criminal Mischief, which come with a maximum jail sentence of 25 months if convicted.
