University of Iowa president Barbara Wilson has received a pay raise.

The Iowa Board of Regents announced Thursday that Wilson and Iowa State president Wendy Wintersteen’s annual salary will be bumped up to $650,000. That’s an increase of $50,000 per year from their current salaries of $600,000. The raise marks an 8.3% increase.

The raises follow performance evaluations conducted earlier this week. They take effect on July 1st.

Wilson has been on the job for almost exactly one year.
