Iowa City Police investigating shots fired near Cross Park Avenue

Iowa City Police are investigating a shots fired incident on the city’s southeast side.

According to an ICPD news release, officers were called to the area of Pepper and Sandusky Drives at 11:30 Tuesday night for multiple reports of shots fired. Further investigation determined the shots were likely fired during a fight in the 900 block of Cross Park Avenue. No one is believed to have been injured during the incident. No further information has been made available.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Iowa City Police Department at 319-356-5275. In addition, anyone in that area with security cameras is asked to review their recordings and contact the Iowa City Police Department with any potential footage or information about this incident.
