An Iowa City man was arrested last weekend after allegedly urinating on a building in the Ped Mall.

Police observed 26-year-old Thomas Clay of South Van Buren Street committing the offense just before 2am on July 15th at the Plaza Centre One building.  Once confronted by officers, he allegedly refused to provide an ID.  Clay then reportedly provided a false name to officers, and they placed him under arrest.

Clay allegedly resisted officers physically, and was reportedly observed with signs of intoxication.

Police charged him with Public Urination, Public Intoxication, Providing False ID Information, and Interference with Official Acts.  He appeared before Judge Mark Neary on the 17th and was fined a total of $460.
