A Henry County man has been arrested after a two-vehicle personal injury accident near Riverside.
Washington County dispatch records show the accident occurred just before 8:00 Saturday morning at the Riverside exit on Highway 218. The number and severity of the injuries is not included in the initial report, but the report does indicate airbags were deployed and at least one ambulance was called to the scene.
The two drivers are identified as 19-year-old Dylanger Cowick of Mt. Pleasant and Derick Minch of Muscatine. Cowick is charged with Operating While Intoxicated, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Failure to Provide Proof of Financial Liability and No Valid Driver’s License.
